Video art, performance art, sculpture
Tala is a MA student still trying to figure out what to do with her life. Since high school, she’s struggled between doing what she loves and doing what seems “realistic.” For a moment, she gave in to practicality and majored in Economics. But because she could never fully give up on art, she spent most of her college time making artwork and studying art history.
Eventually, she realized passion might be the only thing that truly sustains motivation. So she decided to continue her studies and Puresue what genuinely interests her.
She’s now at Stanford University, studying Tibetan Buddhist rituals and their transformations in Mongolia. This website is a collection of Tala’s art. Through video, performance, and sculpture, She explores ideas of self, gender, religion, and the continual reimagining of the world around her.
